Hey! Cheers for all your comments - always nice to hear from home :)
After a long flight from New York and a stop-start rainy train journey we finally arrived at our hotel in LA. Hotel was ok - quite small but fine for a couple of nights. Luckily when we woke up the sun was shining and we had a clear blue sky (just to make you all a bit jealous! haha) so we headed out to downtown LA! We were surprised at the amount of mexicans living there - almost as if we were in Mexico!
Fact - the inhabitants of LA are called ANGELINOS - and Sach is still a geek!
We visited the theatres and grand central market - a great place for fruit and chillies but the chinese food wasnt brilliant - I (sally) ended up with boiled eggs with boiled noodles!) The contrast between this part of LA and the financial district accross the street was really clear.
We found a water park where we randomly met the bass player from Mars Volta (one of my (sacha) favorite bands) who was really hungover from the weekend but had a good chat with him! His tip for Vegas was 300 bucks on red!
After this we walked further through downtown and had our first glimpse of the hollywood sign - we will come back to LA later in the trip. Looking forward to seeing more of the other parts of LA - not much going on downtown.
Pics coming soon - not had much internet connection here! Currently in Vegas having an awesome time - Grand Canyon and Vegas blog coming soon!
Hope you are all well - we're fine having a great time - and havnt gambled all our money here in Vegas..... yet! :D
Next update and pics coming soon

Lots of love from Sally and Sach X X X

Hi I am pleased for you that you have temperatures of 21-22 °C. We in the UK still have to wait for at least 3 months to enjoy this sort of climate you are having. Here in the UK the weather is rainy and everyone is stuck indoors, this is unusal, I suppose we are still in this grip of the hard winter 2009/10.
Love from Les, who is in London today and from me.
