Court Day and long awaited photos

Phillip Levi Salley is now officially our son. Court was about 15 minutes long. Tomorrow starts the official 10 day wait so we will be able to take custody of Phillip on December 6th. It will take a couple of days to get his passport and new birth certificate so we hope to be headed back to Kiev on December 8th. The train ride to Kiev is 15 hours. On Monday the 12th we will have Phillip's medical exam and the 13th we will get his visa and immigration paperwork. If the airlines have seats availiable, we will be headed home on the 14th.
The weather here is very warm today but in Kiev it is snowing. Better them than us.
Hope everyone had a great Turkey day. We celebrated today at McDonalds. I will update again later. Thanks for the emails. Christy More thumbnails ...

Happy for you (reply) Nov 25, 2005 11:21 EST by jmperl
I showed my daughter Natasha (adopted in April 2005)the picture of your new son and she recognized him as someone from her old groupa. They had such a nice group mom named Ilvena (sp?) and the psychologist was Zeta (sp) was too. I am so happy that another child has a forever family. Maybe when you get home we can correspond. Have you tried Steak House Bravo?? I was our favorite.

Ok, Mom you have to be in some too! He is a doll and I know you are glad to have court behind you. The wait has been very worth it I am sure.
