here comes the cold

Well we have made it to the western side of Argentina via another 20 hour bus ride(they seem to fly by now)and we find ourselves in san martin de los andes, a small touristy and chocolate obsessed town on the edge of a lake in the north of the lakes district. the first day and a half we spent relaxing and recovering from the crazy buenos aires lifestyle.... which was convenient as it was raining anyway. we whiled away the hours in a little chocolate shop drinking the best coffee and hot chocolates, cooking up a storm (perfect pumpkin soup weather) and chatting away over a bottle of red and paps fritas-french fries (the two cheapest things on the menu) in a cafe over looking the lake. on our last day we managed to get off our butts and walk up a hill to some amazing views of the surrounding lakes....
