A beaut train ride out to the valley passing by the vineyards and quintas of the port region. The train winding along the river and through green fields. very picturese, just like the old couple said on the port tour, one of the worlds most beautiful train journeys, well according to thier 10 best train journey dvd back home .
Arrived in a little town but not as little as we wanted, a few things to see. the rain came but we were lucky to see the building with the steps, a church, built by a famous guy apparently. we also saw the chinese restaurant, twice and a bar and a bakery thanks to the inhibiting rain.
