I flew into New York & spent a few days gawking at the sights. I'd been there before so I didn't do the whole Empire State Building stuff, but I did spend ages walking around Central Park. It's probably my favourite park that I've been to, probably because of its incongruous position. You can easily find a pretty wild corner in the park with thick undergrowth & no-else around, and yet 15 minutes later you'll be standing outside a monster apartment building with taxis & police cars thundering past.
