Arrival in Panama

I arrived late in Panama City & was met by some guy with instructions to take me to a hotel. This was fine, except that the car's tyre wasn't up to the job, so we had to stop at every fuel station to pump it up. Eventually even this wasn't enough, so we stopped at one of these african-style workshops where the guy rummaged around to find a 10-th hand tyre that was new early last century and fitted it in seconds. Off we went...no problem

Bridge of the Americas

My hotel was actually right next to the canal, but i didn't realise that until Paul told me weeks later... I left for Bocas early the next morning
