The TV room has just had a makeover, and is now a much more pleasant place to sit and relax, if a little bland, so I have been asked to produce a painting to go on the walls. This was something that I originally thought would take me about eight hours to complete, but i was a little over ambitious and as I have not painted anything for a while it took longer than I was expecting. This is mainly because I have spread the painting across two boards and getting them to match up in terms of colouring and positioning is proving slightly more difficult than expected. It is also impossible for me to paint for longer than three hours at a time in between working, cleaning and people eating in the kitchen, so I never really get a flow going, but c'est la vie, it is still a relaxing pass time, or relatively so.
It is not so bad, so long as it looks good at the end!!
