In stark contrast to last week this Sunday was actually very good fun.  Work ticked over nicely (because it was Kiwi Father's Day) but was not overly busy (because it was Kiwi Father's Day) and the customers, without exception, were poilte and well-mannered which makes for a pleasant change.  There was even sixteen dollars worth of tips each at the end of the day which is exceptionally good for a day shift.  So I was in a very good mood as I wandered back to the hostel.

My early evening was filled with The Bourne Ultimatum, which in a word, is AWESOME.  I left the cinema feeling quite invigorated, which was a good thing because I found that there was indeed a leaving do on at work and it was time to go down there as everyone else had already arrived.  It was good to get out for a change.

Gav has increased the difficulty level of my work out now that he is leaving and has put an emphasis on short concentrated energy bursts in my circuit training - which sounds exhausting, but which will push my fitness levels up faster.   To me it just sounds tiring, but if it helps then I will do it, not only because I do not want to waste the money that I have spent on the gym, but because it will be supremely beneficial for everything that I want to do in the next months.

I did not intend to stay out late, as i wanted to go to Rangitoto on Monday, but I was having such a good night that i ended up going home at 3am and while that was not as late as a night shift at work, it was not really early enough for a trip out to Rangitoto either.  Nevermind, there are still two weeks to get out there.
