I do not really want to travel all the way out to Sylvia Park to collect my copy of Harry Potte on Saturday. It is not that I am ungrateful to my Dad's friend Brain for preordering my copy for me (it saves me from panicking that I won't get a copy on the release day, and someone will inadvertantly tell me the ending before I get a chance to read it), but I am working 'until required' on Saturday because of the rugby - Australia/New Zealand - and that implies that I will finish late, so I do not want to have to make the extra journey out to the shopping park. I will however, have to collect it on the day of release, it will be waiting for me and as such I will have to go and get it.
I have spent the day attempting to get someone at the hostel to go and collect my book on my behalf, even offering to pay their train fare . My attempts were unsuccessful. Oh well. I shall have to do some of my least favourite thing it seems. I shall have to plan. Worryingly, planning is becoming increasingly necessary. I will have to plan my Fiji trip just as soon as I have finished with New Zealand as there is still a relatively large amount of unrest there, and though it is centred mainly on Suva, planning is a sensible precaution for the kind of places I want to visit.
Maybe it will make me a good planner... Or at least make the idea of being organised a little more appealing to me...
I can hope.
On the bright side, I will know what happens to Harry by Sunday at the latest. It should be good.
