We took a day bus to from Arequipa to Puno.  It was a long ride.  James ended up really having to go to the bathroom right when they were serving lunch.  So the lady wouldn't let James go for the next 20 min.  James was about to go in a bottle when the lady came by and she finally let James go.  After that James got really sick on dads lap.  It was so gross.  After that James took a travel tab and was fine after that.
We made it to the Puno bus station.  We decided to find out if the boats were going to go in the afternoon to some of the islands.  There was a boat that was leaving at 3:30 and it was a tour of a few of the islands.  One of those islands is one of the ones we were going to go on.

After lunch we took a boat to the islands.  We learned that the islands are floating.  Also that they are manmade and they are tied to different spots of land.  When we got to the island there were a lot of friendly faces greeting us.  The people were so nice.  We put all our stuff in two small huts.  Mom asked where the bathroom was.  The lady said you can go behind the huts for number 1 and number 2 you have to take a boat to another island.
The people are so poor there is one school for most of the islands.  It's a floating school.  So they take it to different islands all the time.  It was weird at first because the first time we looked at it, it was attached to our island and we walked on it.  Then about 15 mins later it was floating in the middle of the lake.

Even though we froze last night we still had lot's of fun.  It's an experience none of us will ever forget that.
