Woke up reaonably early to fly from Hakodate to Tokyo. Flight was horrible but only because we were so tired we guessed. Dee had a bad night as peanut decided to go raving! Seems he/she has adjusted to their own time zone.
Got to a wet but warm Tokyo early afternoon and found hotel which is near where we first stayed - very leafy part of town near a park with some gorgeous cherry blossom.
We think as we're here for 4 nights we may have got upgraded to members room as we have a larger than normal room and a flat screen tv - oh the luxuries of life.
Mustered up some energy and went to Akahabra for some shopping - 5% tax removed for tourists, both did very well not to buy a PS3 and a new Sony walkman! Dee did treat herself to a new watch though but that's what credit cards are for.
Whilst coming out of subway walked past a restaurant where a guy was tucking into a huge plate of spaghetti bolognaise, yep you guessed it we both ended up eating there for dinner! Was lovely though and we have promised ourselves to eat Japenese food for rest of the trip...
Off to Yokohama tomorrow for a day trip so another early night (it really is taking it's toll now) and an early start tomorrow (or perhaps a little lie in as we don't have to move hotels or catch a flight!)
