Hey all,
Well today has been miserable - weather wise that is. Our colds are getting worse!
We changed hotels so we are nearer to the shinkansen rail station and then went to an internet cafe to upload some photos - promise they will be on here soon (we really are in Japan!)
Dee thought it was a good idea to wear silly shoes and suffered for it by slipping on the wet pavement! Both mum and peanut ok though, just bit battered. Thought did have a broken ankle but managed to walk on it so ok, just resting tonight!
Internet cafe is amazing - you really could live there, showers, tanning, free drinks the lot - mad.
Met with Toshi who lives in Osaka and he took us to Kobe to chinatown - we think sweet and sour chicken may have been made up by the English as nowhere to be found, well in Japan that is. Lemon chicken it was for Dee then and good old Ramen for Si (happy now).
Toshi was very kind and showed us around although the weather could have been better. Dee has been introduced to melon fanta and Si hot tea in a bottle - Japan is fab.
Hope you are all coping with clock changes - only 8 hours behind us now!
Think Si would like to see the Liverpool game but not sure could cope with going out to find it on tv in Osaka - will have to see score in the morning!
Off to rest now,
Us x
ps - Dee is loving the warm toilet seats here especially when it's been raining lol.
