Fukuoka
Entry 10 of 29 | show all | print this entry |
Well, we've had a full day in Fukuoka, which is a fantastic city, very cosmopolitan and seems to have a big international flavour to it. Finally managed to get Dee to eat some Japanese food when we went to a buffet restaurant at the top of a shopping tower recommended by Lonely Planet. Food was goooood and was great to have some local nosh for once!
Had a good look around and met some random German guy in a bar who is into nano-tech and wanted lots of money so he could build Si the smallest computer ever. Give Si an E-pc and he'd be happy. Not hugely cheaper for those over here. Anyway, he recommended skipping Nagasaki, so it's straight to Hiroshima for us to see what it's got. Plus we can go see that island off Hiroshima with the Torii gate in the water, so hopefully some interesting pics soon, will get them onto the blog one day.
Ok, more from us later, byeee x
