Travelled to Kumamoto by Shinkansen (which made Dee feel v sick!)
Kumamoto is a rather sleepier town than Kagoshima but lovely. We found the castle which was amazing (although far too many steep steps for Dee and peanut).
Dee had very hormonal and weepy day but generally ok. Si good.
As it's a long holiday weekend in Japan there was taiko drummers near the castle who were amazing! Got some very good footage.
Been here just over a week and Dee has not found anything she can eat! Talk about lost in translation. We are having difficulty with the menu and can't suss out where to get chicken terriyaki or teppenyaki from! Si is determined to find Dee something!
Off to Hakata/Fukuoka tomorrow.
