Ireland was amazing. Irish people are truly helpful and genuine. I went on a tour through Dublin and the country side in the hills behind Dublin. Very green beautiful landscape with creeks, rivers, and lakes everywhere
. I went to the Guiness factory which is the biggest Brewery in the World making 3 million pints of Guiness a day. The tour was pretty cool, you get to learn about how the brewery has evolved into what it is today under Arthur Guiness and his successors. Also you get to learn how they brew Guiness. Last and certainly not least you get a complimentary pint of Guinness in the sky top bar where you can enjoy your stout porter overlooking the entire city of Dublin. I saw many other important tourist sites like saint Pauls and saint Patricks cathedral. Christ church which is huge. I even saw, on my tour through the countryside, the hills where some of Braveheart was filmed. My favorite was going out every night with the girls in Temple Bar which not only is a fun bar but the name of a square full of pubs, clubs, and good eateries. We had to represent and have a few Irish car bombs to drink since we were in Ireland. All in all good trip besides ordeals with the transportation because of course I had problems on the way back but they weren't as serious.
So this past weekend i went to Dublin and met up with some girls from U of A. I had a bit of an ordeal getting there. I set an early flight so I could get there and have the whole day. Well the tube was late and I got there 25 minutes before my flight took off. I rush to check and I learned that British airports don't allow you to check in when there is less than 30 minutes until take off. That wasn't so bad I just was going to get on the next flight. then he tells me that my ticket was none exchangeable or refundable and I would have to by another ticket. I felt like punching the guy cause he was so rude and impolite and was very unwilling to help with my unfortunate situation. Luckily I found a decent priced ticket with another airline.
