So, we are ready to get the hell out of this country and begin our vagabonding. First stop Taipei City. Will be sure to update from there with something interesting to report we hope. What can we really write about SeaTac airport? Boring. Expensive. Etc. Aside from our Ivars fish/chip/chowder feast, this place probably has little to offer us.
Over and out......
The journey has finally started! After a very rushed and stressful weekend of moving out of our apartment and finalizing all preparations for our trip and my school crap we are finally 'on the road.' Our journey started out with a surprise flight to Kalispell, Montana of all places. We had to fly there on the way to Seattle on one of the horrid Horizon Air 'pond-skipper' propelled mini-planes. My back ached after the first hour of flight- and we still have a 14+ hour flight to Taipei, Taiwan ahead of us. Actually we still have a few hours to kill here at the airport, as our flight does not leave until 2:55am. We find ourselves very tired and mentally worn out from our last week/weekend at home. But, we are totally excited! Can't believe this trip is finally here! We have our electronic Yahtzee games (yes Ne they did turn out to be worth the $10 after all huh?!), tons of reading materials and the love of 100 sweetbeasts to conquer this flight and layover. Great times....minus Ne's horrific gas. (^_^)
