Naples, Italy

Well getting to Naples turned out to be very interesting because once we had found our seats on the train, Eric realized that he had left his passport with his mother back at the hotel. So, he had to get off the train seconds before it left the station to get it back. So, it turned out being just my mother and I trying to tackle to Naples public transportation system on our own and it was horrible. Not that we didn't know exactly where to go with the directions that we had, but the Italian transport ion never ceases to amaze me in its inefficiency, lateness, and doesn't give a shit if your late to your next destination type attitude. It took us almost an hour to get from the train station to our hostel which ended up being only 3 short metro stops away. Once we got here, we just wrote Eric a note letting him know that we would meet up with him later and we headed out into the town. One thing I must point out about Naples firstly is that it is now the new Number one seed in craziest driving cities in the world. I though Lisbon and Barcelono were but, but they were all 16 year old kids taking their driving tests compared to here in Naples. People are randomly passing on the left when their is oncoming traffic, they are pulling U-ies in the middle of traffic and so many other things that are impossible to describe with words.
