. It was a very good day and one of the funnest things I have done. The last two days have been absolutely amazing and its going to be hard to complete with it but Im sure as hell going to try.
Tomorrow we are headed out of town and into a mountain town called Gimmelwald. Apparently the population is less than a 100 people but the views are unbeatable which is hard for us to imagine considering what we are dealing with right now. Tomorrow is going to be filled with hiking and hopefully a frisbee. We were unable to find one today because it is a local holiday and during holidays here in Europe, EVERYTHING is closed. The hostel we are staying at in the mountains also has a wood fire heated hot tub so that should be amazing, getting cooked in the alps.
Well today was another average day in the beautiful country they call Switzerland. Eric talked me into doing some crazy activity they call canyoning. I wasn't sure whether or not we were going to do it at first but after talking to a couple of the other hostellers and hearing how good of a time it was, I decided to sign up. I was a little worried about getting cold because we signed up for the 930 group and it involved going into 45 degree water, not exactly how I prefer starting my mornings. Once we got finished putting on our soaked wet suits we headed up the mountain to where the conyoning course began. It was such a shot when we first jumped in, I have never in my life experience water even close to that cold. It took a little while, but after 5 minutes or so, the waterin my wet suit and the wet suit itself began to warm up and it wasnt so bad. During the entirety of the course, we did many different stunts and tricks. We repelled down cliffs, jumped off of high cliff into the river below, when feet and head first down little naturaly made water slides and even strapped into a hanging rope and jumped from one side of a cliff to the other
