From Cologne we went to Bremen which is a smaller town in Northeastern Germany. We hadnt planned on going there orginally, but hostels were booking up and we needed somewhere to stay. It turned out be a chill place to stay and just take it easy for the night. The hostel we stayed at we really nice but they charged extra for everyhing. Sheets, lockers, ect. It was really annoying but it turned out alright. Since we were spending relatively no money, we decided to go out for a good German meal. We found a place with a three course meal for 13 euro. We had thin thinly sliced beef stuffed with bacon and vegetables, mashed potatoes and dark beer gravy accomponied by the necessary leter of beer. It was definately the best meal that I have had on the trip so far.
