Yesterday doesn’t deserve a special blog as we spent all day in the factory outlets.  Roxy was in heaven, Vlad was tortured all day and Mattias didn’t have a choice. That was about it...  The only dilemma now is - how to fit all the stuff in our suit cases. Hmmmmm....

We have sadly decided not to rush and see Grand Canyon and stay another night in Las Vegas to have a chance to do some sight seeing.  Going to Grand Canyon just for an afternoon plus about 12 hours driving in 2 days was a bit too much.  Grand Canyon will be definitely on our list next time we come to USA.

Today we set out to do some sight seeing. We bought tickets for the open top double decker bus tour (red bus).  We saw most of the major hotels/casinos.  We walked through a shopping strip and it was crazy - so many people.  We also stopped at the Las Vegas “Welcome Sign” and took pictures.

We went up the Stratosphere - the tallest tower in Las Vegas which was very cool.  They had some rides on top of the tower (leaning on the side of the tower) and sky jump of about 100 meters.  I didn’t go on the rides because I had to look after Mattias - no other reasons.... (smrk) :-)

We also walked through some massive hotels/casinos like Mirage, Caesar’s Palace and Bellagio.  These structures are humangous, luxurious, unique and most of all full of people.  No global financial crisis here...

We also stayed for the water show (synchronised with music) at  Bellagio when it got dark.  We also saw the spectacular lights all over the city.

I stay by my comment yesterday that Las Vegas is an impressive city during the day and during the night.  We enjoyed it and would recommend it (for tourist reasons and not gambling - just to clarify :P).
