. We had to negotiate again the fare - from 20USD we arrived at 10USD which seems like nothing but it’s quite a bit when you think that the bus ticket would have costed us 1USD for all of us return. We finally made it to Delphinaris and the bad part was that you were not allowed with the camera in and the sitting area for the Observers (Vlad & Mattias) was quite far from the pool where my group was. We were 5 people, 2 couples and myself and had 2 dolphins - Oceania (22 years old) and Pablo, her son (7 years old). We had the opportunity to learn a lot of facts about dolphins, pat them, play with them in the water, splash water at each other, kiss them and receive a kiss from them, lift up my arm and they jumped to it, shake hands and the best thing - a foot push from both dolphins! That was amaaazing! Thank you so much baby for the present and yes, I am the luckiest woman on Earth for having you as my hubby :) About an hour later, after the time with dolphins finished, we had complimentary tickets to Wet’n Wild which is nothing compared to our own Gold Coast one. We went on some rides, had lunch and took some photos and came home at around 3pm after more negotiations with taxi drivers. Im not sure what the night will bring as I feel Vlad has more in store for me but I can’t wait! Time for a shower, putting Mattias to sleep and enjoying a beautiful birthday evening with my love before we are leaving Cancun tomorrow for a new destination: Villahermosa, Mexico.
I guess I am the one who needs to write the blog for today as it was My day thanks to my lovely husband. As some of you know tomorrow is my birthday so Vlad gave me two awesome presents: an Ipad that will be delivered home hopefully before we get back and a Swim with dolphins. I always dreamed about this so I was very excited when I found out. This morning we woke up a bit earlier than usual as Mattias didn’t feel like sleeping after 5.30am. I feel sorry for our neighbours. At 7am we went and had breakfast as Mattias was already cranky (his usual attitude when he doesn’t get his food - sounds like his daddy). Enrique, our favourite waiter was waiting for us and made sure we all had a lovely brekkie. After that we went to wait for a bus to take us to Delphinaris/ Wet’n Wild as we thought we had plenty of time until 9.30 when we were supposed to be there. The only problem was that this bus was passing probably every hour and not every 10-15 minutes how we were told so we’ve changed our mind and got a taxi
