Today we woke up to a rainy day but we were still keen to get on the Huon Trail and head south towards the Air Walk which we wanted to do.
We started our journey and the weather didn't get any better and we started losing interest. :( Instead of going to the air walk we stopped at the "Enchanted Wood" place where we bought a clock made from huon pine. We also stopped at one bakery where the baker didn't show up to work!?!?!?
After the bakery we decided to head north to Swansea. Our first stop was in Richmond. Here we visited Australia's oldest bridge and the miniature historic Hobart (similar to Cockington Green in Canberra). To top it off we went to an "Old Portraits" place where we had a family photo taken but dressed in 1800's clothing. I thought it suits me. :)
From Richmond we continued north and stopped in a few places along the way to take some photos.
Just before Swansea we stopped at Kate's Berry Farm where we bought some Quince jam. Most of the products (sweet pies, jams, creams, etc) there are from berries and fruits grown on their farm. I thought it was pretty cool.
We then arrived to our accommodation, unpacked and just wanted to bludge. We did however go and got some food. We'll get some good rest as tomorrow is some more travelling towards St. Helens.
