We arrived in Brisbane at around 17:30 and got picked up by one of my sisters.
The traffic was crazy as it was Friday afternoon but we didn't care as we were happy that our holiday started.
On Saturday we attended the church and we had a visiting pastor who is a missionary in Sudan. It was good to hear some of the experiences he had and the causes for help in the poor country.
As some of you know Roxy just had a D&C done in Canberra on Tuesday 11 Mar 08 (after miscarriage), well on Saturday and even on Sunday morning she was feeling contractions coming and going. The pain was so intense at times that my hand was squeezed so hard that it hurted.
For some reason because the pain was coming and going we didn't go to the hospital. But when Roxy still felt the contractions on Sunday we got up early to go to the hospital.
I was even willing to cancel our holiday to Fiji if that was the best thing for Roxy but she had different ideas.
It took a while for the doctors to see her and when she thought that we needed to head to the airport she just called the nurse and told her that that she is leaving and after she signed a few papers she did leave.
She came out of the examination area with "nobody will stop me having this holiday" look on her face. After a few jokes about that we left for the Brisbane International Airport...
