I write this on the day i reach 1 quarter of a century old and its been a bit of a toilet washout e.g I havent been able to do much as ive got a dodgy stomach (youll be pleased to hear colin). Im feeling a bit better as ive managed to drag myself away from the toilet to the internet! I blame the dodgy 3 quid all you can eat buffets that we have been going to where the food ranges from cold to luke warm. At least hayley has got it as well so its not just me feeling crap.

Right when i first arrtived i described Sau Paulo as a 'shit hole' which may have been a little harsh and so upon having a good look round the city i have decided its just a bit of a dump. There are some nice things to see but it is basically a really industrial city which doesnt cater for tourists. It probablçy doesnt help that we are staying in downtown Sau Paulo which the person at the tourist information advised us not to go out after dark as its where all the prostitutes and drug dealers live. Just as well im chained to the toilet really! I would liken Sau Paulo to Birmingham, plenty to do for a couple of days but you wouldnt really want to live there (jim). We went up this really tall tower which provided amazing views of the city which is 'alledgedly' the 4th biggest in the world and the num,ber of tall buildings was unbelievable so maybe i believe them.

Tommorow we have a 15 hour bus journey to iguazu falls which borders argentina which could be interesting, hopefully im feeling better by then. There are loads of waterfalls there which the people we have spoken to have said are amazing. Not sure what we are goping to do after the waterfalls but hay we are the masters of our own destiny.

Id like to spare a though for our comrades Jim and Matt who must be off to Russia at some point to watch england. Remember not to leave your hotel room or youll get the crap kicked out of you.

Till next time, bombadier.....

well that prob the first time you have been sick at the start of your birthday and not as a result of vast drinking at the end of your birthday.
I think you should start a tally of the highest this and longest that that every one claims in eahc country e.g 4th tallest tower cause every country seems to have one.
15 hour bus ride i dont envy that and you dont even have me to camp with on the bus or garfield tape to listen to.... its our drive accross france all over again.
Make sure u take plenty of pics at the waterfulls they are meant to be lovely.
Hope to speak to you soon on skype.
may the force be with you young travellers

take care

Amanda and Mark
