It is finally here, the start of my GAP year!! I had been looking forward top this for a long time! I started packing and getting everything ready for the year away a few days beforehand, keeping the Rush tradition of leaving everything to the last moment!!

Arrival at the airport with bulging bags. Two of which I had to have shipped to me in New Zealand... Showing that mum always is the over packer and making sure that I had absolutely everything that I could ever need for the year. Some things which I have never used. (But thanks mum for all of the help.)

At the airport after everything had been checked in, and my parents had made sure I had my ticket, passport, money and everything else I said goodbye to them at Heathrow passport control.

Easily went through passport control, hung out inside for a bit before making my way to the boarding gate. Got on the plane, sat down, buckled up and away we went.

Goodbye England, I'll be back in over a years time!!
