The afternoon buggy trips take you out after the searing heat has died down and this gave me the chance to try some real sand boarding but, only after a few tips from peeps well versed in the similar art of snowboarding. These trips usually stop early to go and watch the sunset but shall we say our buggy had a somewhat unfortunate accident and got a puncture. How It managed this feat in nothing but sand boggles the mind. However it got us all a free Pisco Sour on return to the hostel so I didn't hear any complaints.
