Not much to say about today, Loja is just another city to me chosen primarily so I could get to the second border crossing @ Macará as an access point back to Peru.
Nice gates though (Puertas De La Ciudad).
The botanical garden on the outskirts was a complete waste of time (luckily I snuck in without paying) and the hilltop Mirador cerca de la Technica (viewpoint near the Uni) was closed at 7 just after it got dark so no night view over the city (Thank you ecuadorexplorer.com for much disappointment)
