so saturday night we flew up to buenos aires.  it was so nice to be on a plane and not more excrutiatingly long bus rides.  we got in at midnight and after settling into our hostel went out for some dinner.  the people here stay out all night.  most restaurants are open till at least 2 or 3, and bars and clubs don't even start getting full until after 1am.  but we were a little tired so we just went back and crashed. 

sunday we got up and walked over to san telmo neighborhood.  there is an antiques fair there every sunday, but it was really more just stalls set up with anything, cds, crafts, clothes.  there were a lot of antiques stores around too, and i would have bought a ton of stuff if we had the money, or the means of getting it home. 

from there we headed up to avenida florida.  it's a stretch of pedestrian road at least 7 blocks long, that is all shopping.  but most of them were closed since it was sunday.  we did get a few things though.   we needed some normal clothes and shoes.  everything we have is more for camping and back packing, so we kind of stand out in the city.

So excited
I was so excited to talk you!!! I am telling my students today, so I am a little nervous about it. My seniors were pretty cool about it, but they are leaving too so they aren't that broken up about it. In fact Katy is going to Lincoln Christian College so she is real pumped to be my bestie and have sleep overs. ummmmm, no thanks. Anyways, have fun visiting more exotic and wonderful places, but be sure to miss us lots. Tim and I love you both soooo much.
