i´m sorry i haven´t posted in awhile. i put some pins on our map but didn´t write anything for now. i´ll do it later when i have time, but for now you can see where we´ve been. now we´re in san martin de los andes and heading out to camp for a few days. we got into town yesterday and had to find a campground and set up in the rain. thankfully it was drizzling, and didn´t start pouring until we were in the tent for the night. this is the last town we´ll see for a few days, so i wanted to let you know we´re okay. this area is called the lake district and we´re going to do the 7 lake circuit. our bus leaves in an hour and will drop us off near one lake. tomorrow we´re planning on hiking several kilometers to another lake and camping there. then hopefully we can flag down a bus to take us to the next town. we were debating scrapping our trip all the way to ushuaia cause we´re running short on money, but we talked with some friends in neuquen and one guy says we could do it, we just have to be smart. so we´re only camping for the next few weeks and cooking all our own food, mostly noodles and sandwiches probably. we´ll see how far we get. we really want to go, especially since we´ve come 2/3 of the way. we have to be smart with cash cause it´s going to cost us to get into the glacier park and a bit for transport too. we may even try to hitchhike, don´t worry mom, we´ll be safe. well, i guess that´s all for now. we need to buy some groceries before we get the bus, and get a map so we don´t get lost out there in the wilderness. love you all

Ok, you're not making me feel better by telling me you won't see another city for a while, you'll be hitch hiking you're worried about getting lost and eating mostly noodles!!!
But thank you so much for writing. I was beginning to get concerned.
Will you need us to pick you up on the 10th with your car?
