"Travel makes one modest. You see what a tiny place you occupy in the world." Scott Cameron
Three months into the trip and it feels like it's going really fast. Regrets about doing this trip? Absolutely none. The rent on the house is being paid and we're having wonderful time and we haven't run out of cash yet.

We've just about adapted to living out of a rucksack. When we get to NZ it'll be time to ship some stuff back to the UK as Claire can't stop buying clothes and I have to admit I've bought a few crap t-shirts along the way.

So far the trip has been brilliant but I think we have learnt that the volunteering is more fun than the guided tours. You get a better feel for the place even if you don't see quite as much.

Highlights? Borneo and seeing a wild orang-utan, walking along a deserted and perfect beach in the Perhentians, swimming alongside a massive green turtle, also in the Perhentians, the boat trip down the Mekong and Luang Prabang in Laos.

Anyway enough rambling this is really just an entry for me to collate some of my favourite photos taken so far.

Really, really pleased things are going so well. I'm enjoying reading your entries and am currently sighing as I read this from the exotic climes of Camden. Be sure to let me know if you get a dose of the sh*ts so I can feel better.

Oh that's happened...not that anyone really wants to know that. But some 'magic' Chinese medicine in the shape of little black balls sorts all manner of aliments out.
