So I found the supermarket and had a bit of a shock at the prices and at the amounts of people....like asda on drugs. So I bought a few things but I am going to have to re-think that. And hey presto we found a travel kettle in the cupboard which boils water just about as slow as can be imagined but it works!

Yesterday and today I have been doing gynaecological pathology which has been interesting..... I can just about diagnose HPV infection (which causes cervical cancer) under the microscope I think! Also looked at surgical specimens which have been removed. Let me stress again that pathology is not all about dead people.... What would be the point; you can't cure death?! Its about diagnosing living people! Having said that I did go down for one autopsy today.... I am finding it very interesting to learn about how different everything in medicine is in the US from the UK. The graduates start to specialise straight away and training is much shorter here.

So I am not sure what I shall be doing tomorrow but I am sure it will be interesting.

Dad said about talking on msn. Everyday seems to be quite variable with what times I am on and the internet can be a bit unreliable here. Having said that, I will try to be on tomorrow night (Friday) around 5pm my time; 10pm at home. I think we could arrange a regular time to talk and its very easy to sign up for an msn account and use it on the main computer if you get George to show you quickly.

Fiona said about no one leaving comments. I think more people are reading than are leaving comments, I know Mum prints it off and Daisy and Nan probably read it. Its only really for parents and Clare to know what I am up to.....

I get to the library as much as I can and print out your entries for nan and Bill to read. Glad you are having such a great time it was worth all the struggle.

I didn't mean that family was not commenting, i meant your friends that might be reading your blogg, thought that someone would have comment! I have been printing them off to!

Your Dad has a msn account he just hasn't got any patience when it comes to getting things to work. Hopefully we talk later!

About your kettle, well we are bringing one when we come over, so i thought when we leave you can have that one if you like? Up to you.
