Did the Gloucestershire Way from Plump Hill to Minsterworth with the South Cotswold Ramblers.  Over 12 very tough miles.
I'm a big fan of their web site. Their photos soothed this footpath addict every morning for many years.  It was cool to see all of the faces in person that I seen for many years on line.  Mike has a wonderful voice and John is very funny like me.  Ian and his wife were very kind and helpful.  Richard is amusing and fun to talk to.  He carries a very large and expensive looking camera for the website photos.

I think we slowed them down a bit. They are a hardy lot.  Very experienced hikers.  The only thing that saved us was that there were 24 of us so there was a long wait over each stile.  Mom had lots of trouble with the stiles for the first 10 days or so.  The trail there had many many twists and turns over many many stiles
On the map it didn't look that interesting but keeping up with them took much of our attention.  Lunch on May Hill was nice - one of those beautiful hilltop commons so common....
We stopped at a Garden Centre as they always have a cafe. If it wasn't mud it was tall grass...very tough going.  Weather was sunny some. Took some video so you could Kelly could hear the voices. We made it onto the web site!   South Cotswold Ramblers Glos.   Drove home did a 15 minute turn around and drove to dinner with Elizabeth at her new townhome oear ear Pittville Circus).  Had some trouble getting home.  Driving though winchcombe was tough.
Winchcombe was gorgeous- we walked around it many times but the road through town is too narrow if there are any parked cars and the hotel parking lot was the usual pain in the rear.
