The Palacio Prefectural, where I work, is currently hosting a display of paintings by Armando Jordan. He lived in Santa Cruz in the 1930s and painted many scenes.

I was invited to the official opening of the exhibition this evening. Sadly, I wasn't allowed to take any photos, but the pictures really are excellent. Of all the girls, only Rachel, the youngest, wanted to come along. We had a good evening and afterwards went to the Victory Bar in town and had some delicious pasta. We also tried Bolivian wine for the first time. I was amazed at how nice it was.

Armando Jordan
Thats my great grandfather, after moving to the states some of his paintings were found...they are beautiful and I keep them close to my heart! I would have loved to see this exhibition.
