Today we drove from Davenport, IA to Chicago, IL. We both liked Chicago a lot because it had many similarities to NYC, yet it was very spacious. There are several rivers that run through the financial district, making the area feel open, and not claustrophobic at all. For lunch, we went to a pizza place in hopes of trying Chicago's famous deep-dish pizza. However, when we looked at the menu, the thin-crust pizzas pulled us in. We walked around Millennium Park and saw the Jay Pitzker Pavillion. It is a huge outdoor music venue that has free shows every day. As you will see in the pictures, the entire area is packed with people. We then walked around Lake Michigan to Navy Pier, which consists of restaurants, games, and rides. We ate dinner at Riva, a seafood restaurant with a great view.
