FYI - A lot of the pictures taken were taken from the car, which is why there may be a glare in some of them. Also, we took way more pictures than we uploaded, so there are lots more. We just didn't want to be too repetitive.
Today, we woke up in Denver, CO, and had Denny's for breakfast, which was surprisingly delicious. (Grand Slam for $5). We then drove around downtown Denver for a while, which was cool. As soon as we left Denver, we got back onto Route 70 West and right away we saw our first snow-capped mountains. We didn't expect them to show up as quickly and dramatically as they did. From then on, our whole drive was filled with views of beautiful mountains and cliffs. Our favorite part of the drive today was through White River National Forest, while on Route 70. The curvy road we drove on was surrounded by tree-covered mountains in cliffs, and there was a river adjacent to the road in which people were white water rafting. We then arrived at Moab, Utah, which is a small town right outside of Arches National Park. It was very built up for being in the middle of nowhere, and it had lots of cute restaurants and bars. We ate dinner at the Slick Rock Grill and Bar.
