What I did
Traveled from San Antonio Airport, Texas to home

The flight from Dallas to San Antonio was a quick 40 minutes.  We actually left the gate 5 minutes early.  Again, the gate agent was late calling for the wheelchair; she apologized.  Rosalind and I slept most of the way; we landed at about 2245.  I collected our bags and was met by Mrs Harriet Taylor who so graciously picked us up from the airport at that time of night (Thanks, we love you).  While standing outside waiting for her to arrive, I wasn't sweating.  Why you might ask!  The temperature was still in the mid 80s, but there was "NO HUMIDITY."  It felt so good.

We turned into the driveway at about midnight; Harriet helped us unload our bags.  She had gone to the house earlier today to lower the A/C thermostat; we'd set it on 82 degrees before we left.  Words cannot describe how happy we are to be back in our own home after 25 grueling days on the go.  Can't wait to sleep in my bed.  It's now time for a light snack.  Our frig was almost bare; so we had scrambled eggs, cinnamon rolls, fried spam and strawberry koolaid!  Rosalind had hot chocolate.  We had been so tired and sleepy earlier, now we're still tired but wide awake.  Rosalind hit the hay shortly after eating.  I made it to bed at about 0330.

We will post a final summary of our trip in a couple of days.

Thanks for all of your prayers while we were away!

I have so enjoyed the blog entries from your trip to China. Both of you write a very entertaining piece, and I'll miss that. I can't wait to hear more about the trip in greater detail next time you're in Panama City. I know you're glad to be home but I wanted you both to know how much I completely enjoyed reading every single word of each blog post. Great idea!

First of all, please forgive the delay. It's been a crazy couple of weeks, but I had to comment--again.
Who needs 25 days of grueling travel when they've got friends like you who made everyone feel as if they were with you each mile of the way? What a ride! What a travelogue! What a great writer! What a blessing!
