Leisure Day In Hong Kong
Trip Start Aug 01, 2011
34Trip End Aug 25, 2011
We started our day after finally waking up late with breakfast overlooking the beautiful and sunny Victoria Harbour. The staff asked us if we enjoyed our excursion yesterday; most of them have not been to the park. After breakfast, it was back to the room to plan our last full day in Hong Kong. It was decided that once we both got our legs moving in the same direction, we would go down to the mall and make one last walk through and take our final pictures
Let me make what would have been a long story very short; we didn’t make it to the mall. Every time we asked each other “are you ready,” the reply was always “in a little while.” So, at about 1800, we made our way up to the executive lounge for” happy hour.” The amount and variety of food served was enough to take care of dinner.
We got back to the room at about 2000 and finished packing in preparation for our long journey home tomorrow. I told Rosalind that I wanted to be in the taxi on the way to the train station at the morning by 1000.
We ended the night by taking a couple of night pictures of the Harbour. You can see from this post that we definitely had a “do nothing” day…the rest we got though was great!
We’ll be back in Texas tomorrow!
