'If you lived here, you'd be home now.'

I want my kids to grow up here.
It's beautiful.
It's as if they've never heard of fences,
Even the backyards, they're all so open, so connected.
Most places (sadly not my own)
You could literally walk from your yard to at least 3 others.
This place gives meaning to the word neighbourhood.

I saw a squirrel today, running across the back garden.
I was so thrilled, I squealed like a little kid & ran to grab
my camera. Valerie, however, looked at me like I was
crazy, rolled her eyes & went straight back to her book.
Apparently squirrels & chipmunks are as common as
the bats back home. Though of course, much cuter!

Lollapalooza this weeked.
Virtually the Big Day Out or Splendour of the U.S.
But about half the price & with twice the line-up.
I'm crying I didn't get tickets. But I'm heading into
downtown Chicago Saturday anyway, Might have
to jump a few gates, tackle a few security guards,
show them how we do it Western Sydney styles!
Well, you know.. or not.
