Felt much better the next morning! Whew!
Had a great breakfast and our ´guide´ met up with us. He took as around to get the passport stamped in Brazil then for a 10am breakfast beer (on us).
We were happy to have him there as he helped us arrange our flight and passport logistics. It is a strange place -- three countries all come together. Colombia, Peru, and Brazil. No formal borders, just a street...but when you leave and head out into the country, you must have the right stamps.
Our guide (as i never knew his name) spent the day with us. Took us to see a Shaman -- where they were actually making a movie! The shaman helped us out with a little of the special cocoa leave powder for chewing and we watched them make movies for a bit.
Then went to Km 8. The local swimmn hole. An absolute riot. Three bars with a pond in the middle. Loud music and beer. Lunch (on us) was mangy chicken (although our guide got a nice bit) and the DJ even announced us to the whole party. Princess Lisa was quite the hit.
Back to the hotel where somehow I managed to tip our guide too much. I think he hypnotized me.
Out and about to see the kids (LOADS) walking around getting candy. We just sat down for dinner and it poured down with rain. Lots of soaked Spiderman!
