Woke up after a tough time sleeping because of the altitude nd ready to move on to another kind of trek. Lovely breakfast -- and then we found that we had to move out of the hostel because they were booked. Found a nice place called Hostal Grial around the corner. A little door in the side of the block led into a bunch of newly done (newly done Peruvain style...) with balconies linking all of the rooms. Reminded me of a scene in Harry Potter with all of the staircases moving all over the place.

Went down to the main Square and continued to talk to different tour operators. One of the groups had a nice trek, and seemed quite good - still busing to MP at the end. Went to several others that showed us the availablity on the hike...but one might get us in on a tour in 16 days...

Last one we went into had slots leaving in 4 days! RESULT! Was amazing that everyone was just lying about if it were possible to get in...they just wanted to sell there own trips. That being said, we got very lucky!!

We were all smiles and couldnt believe it when she offered it at a discount bc it was last minute!!

A celebration then at Cross Keys ... the English Pub in Cusco. Big Cervesas all around!!
