Travelled on the top of a bus for a couple of hours today before switching to the inside for a another 4 hours and several changes in bus. Narrowly missed being hit of the head from an overhanging tree but survived ! One of our fellow travellers shouted out the alert when we needed to duck the overhead power lines....

We were sharing the roof with a bag of guinea pigs (called Cuy - a delicacy upin the hills !) which were squeaking and moving around as we hit the corners..the conductor gave us to bits of advice before we started.

one - hold on

two - don't squash the guinea pigs

three - REALLY hold on !!

In fact before we got on the roof they lowered a couple of REAL pigs down !!! ha ha (see the picture) Nearly squashed Jeff on the way down as he had been so kind as to help get the supplies down from the roof !! He didn{t realise there was livestock oinking around up there though !!!
