We ended November just 37 miles from Mimi's home in Dallas.  We could have called and gone back for anther night, but we figured Mimi was ready for a little quiet after four days of action.  We're bunking at a very nice Holiday Inn Suites that appears to be in the middle of nowhere and has less than a half dozen cars in a huge parking lot.  The hotel is really nice, so location, location, location appears to be a problem for them.

It started to get dark about 5:00 pm, so we coiuldn't see much in Denton before the sun was gone.

We visited the Denton County Courthouse where we got a nice photograph in the twilight.  We also saw the Confederate Memorial.

Then down the road we went in search of a big rabbit.  The big rabbit turned out to be a big jackalope on a trailer.  It's a barbeque cooking unit with a giant jackalope body -- Texas Jack.  I figure it has to be the World's Largest Jackalope-shaped Barbeque Grill.

We love finding quirky things like this, so it was a good way to end a nice day.

Tomorrow:  Off to Paris.  We promise.  We will actually have photos from Paris on our blog tomorrow night, so stay tuned!
