Where I stayed
Nelson, we salute you and all we can say is, we will not let you down.
Nelson - it goes without saying that this one person has been our lifeline for all that is Brazil. With a minor in Portuguese and time abroad he is the closest thing we have to the real deal. With a mix of wit and old school ruler hand slapping he is teaching this very English speaking crew the ins and outs of the Brazilian Portuguese language. (Which is different than JUST Portuguese.) If you see Nelson on the street, go ahead and congratulate him, he deserves it because we are not making his job easy. Not on purpose of course, however, learning this language is a mix of being tongue tied and for one of us our high school German lessons have attempted to creep back into the old memory banks a good decade after graduation.
