G'day All
again a quick update just to say that we had a ball in London the hotle when we first booked in put us in the colonial suite this room was more like a dungeon than a room it mesured no more then 3mts wide and proabably 6mts long we slept on the cement slab for the night and went down next morning to ask if it was possible to get a new matress and some more space around the bed to which they said no problem, when we got back after a days touring we went and asked about the room upgrade and they presnted us with the keys to a viceroy room it was massive and the bed was a tad better than the other at least it was softer, London its self is fantastic if you wish to move around either by Tube or foot we did both thanks to some lovely ladies back in oz we had the use of what they call an oyster card it was great swipe on swipe off and away you went on friday we went earkly to the london eye as they predicted heavy rain for the afternoon it was worth the money to see all over london then off we went to look up lord nelsons trouser legs as were looked on in awe of the collum and guess what no pigeons then it was off to picadilly and other places nancy and i reckon we walked about 20ks in that time and today we are off to toronto so hopefully cna up date this blog with pics hugs all and have a beaut day

Lizzie ???
Oi, what happened to the blog and pics of your tea with Queen Lizzie ... come on, admit it you guys!! I know it's not so cool to have tea with the Queen these days (especially if you're from one of her long lost colonies ha ha) but we wanted a pic!! If only to prove that Dame Edna Everage and Liz aren't one and the same person ;)
Glad you had a great time ... and have a safe `n` gentle flight to Canada - another long lost colony eh ... poor old bugger hasn't got much left has she :)

You can thank Ken Livingstone for the lack of pigeons (flying rats) he banned the feeding of them, so no food, no pigeons, it is a lot cleaner there now though
The oyster card can be a great way of getting round London, and definately a lot cheaper than using a car and trying to park it
Still next time, I'll show you some of the places my family used to live (Whitechapel, Brick Lane, Holborn, Liverpool Street)
Have a quick look at the London Dungeon, Madam Tussauds, even London zoo is worth a few hours, now they have done it up
