Gday All,
Wow finally am back in cario the flight was great and we were met at the airport by the trafalar rep and our very own security guard to make sure we were delivered safely to our city hotel, again the traffic was bedlam but seemed to flow smoothly till we were in sight of the hotel and then gridlock it took us 20 minutes to get to within 500mtrs of the hotel then we had to sit in the bus as he pushed his way thru the chaos and finally after nearly an hr we arrived and were allowed thru the front doors of the hotel again bags thru scanner s mobile phones passed thru and collected at the other side, we were then handed our room keys and off we went to the fith floor of the Ramis Hilton wow a 5star hotel so we thought hmm we got off and found our room and wow a huge room and looked great nancvy opened the wardrobe and the handle fell off in her hands it was then that we discovered we had been sent to the "Tourist floor " and the room was very tired old and dirty apon closer inspection then the start of our troubl;es began i looked out the bedroom windows and looked down on the traffic that was tooting and honking its way past our room from two streets ( pls remember this)

Our Trafalar rep said that the hotel charges 60 pounds for an hrs use on the internet but across the road we could get it for as little as 10 pound so off we set to up date this blog but after looking in numerous empty door ways gave up on the cheapo net and decided to go and have dinner as we were hungry. The Garden terrace restuurant was open so off we set walked in asked if we could get something light yes sir said the matredee ( sorry am tired) guidied us with a smile that looked like the one the spider wore when he said to the fly step in side my web. So nancy and i had another Buffet dinner and ordered a beer and a glass of wine all we had was something light but the bill was heavy 500 pounds thank you wow if i had known that i would of eaten my way thru the buffet.

so off to bed we went. Hm bed sleep thats right isn't it you know you turn light out put head on pillow and close eyes and don't stir till next morning hmmmmm well i beg to differ remember what i said about the traffic earlier, well it just went on all night long horns blowing honking and stuff next day we were just as tired.

But like all good Terrorists oops tourists sheesh see am tired just remembering it we went down to breakfast wow it was just like the traffic people shoving pushing to get to the food any one would of thought it was the last breakfast they would ever have

. We managed to get the only table that was set up by a trainee no spoons no coffee no cups nothing but napkins and a knife and a fork well i had the knife nancy had a butter knife. apon asking what the hell happened the embarrased trainee set us right and off she went to cry in her cornflakes.

After Breakfast it was off to the Mosque of mahomed Ali no not that boxer bloke but some one with more importanceit was huge and nice but too crowded as usual then it was off to another Mosque for a lecture in the Muslim faith wow it wasan eye opener for me and the others from wehat u have heard thru the media and also some of the fundimentalist Muslims who use it to brainwash the ignorant christians into believing a lot that is taken for granted is real life. Then it was off to a coptic church and the hanging church this church has no foundations but hangs off the walls of an older building the ceiling is made to look like the Noahs Ark and the pillars inside to represent the animals 2x2, Finally off to the musem and to see the mummies and daddies well the mummies as the daddies are not there it was again crowded but not as bad if it was in the high season, we could still walk around and see things and appreciate them with out being shoved and pushed. King tuts mask was there and it was made from solid Gold 12 kilo in fact wow imagine the price today lol, can see old Ruddy (Kevin Rudd Prime Minister of Australia) saying i want one so they can remember me as the greatest leader Australia ever had hmmmmm doubt it the only thing he will be remembred for is that he came on the shirt tails of jumped up howard (former Prime minister of AUSTRALIA an will be a single paragraph in the school text books. Tonight we went to the sight and sound show at the pyramids wow what a show was great and enjoyed it then back to horn city for bed and up early again for more touring to the pyramids :)
