First you watch this video about how they were built and how much concrete, steel and stuff was used (can't remember a thing) then take the lift which travels at the rate of 1 floor per second so it took 41 seconds. You have 15 minutes to take pics and enjoy the view before you are ushered back in to lift. We met John & Debbie from somewhere near Huddersfield (it was too early for my brian to register where they are from and Ben is not here to tell me) on their Honeymoon who are here for a few days then off to spend the rest on an island which sound fantastic; congratulations guys hope you have an amazing time.
There's a permanent haze/smog which hangs over KL (something to do with farmers burning fields) but its well worth going up to have a look as it's free anyway then back down at the bottom there is a room with a few gadgety things in it one of which is a machine which tells you how many times your height the towers are (see pics) and a demonstration on a small model of what would happen if the towers were hit buy lightening.
There really is no need to get up so early they were still giving out tickets when we got back down so as long as you get there before 11am chances are you will get a ticket but I should think it will be busier at weekends. We went for a wonder around the gardens at the back where there is kid's playground (we got told off for playing on the swings), a pool and a lake.
We then decided to go to watch 'sharks' in 3D at the IMAX in Times Square. It was ok but they have other films on too so may go and see something else if we get chance. Went back to room and had a little sleep (mornings are not good for me) while Ben played on the laptop making slide shows out off the pics we have taken and it gave him chance to play with the new camera.
How do you all view the pics?
