After much deliberating and lots more arguing we decide to give it another go.

We were going to fly to Koh Samui but we can't get a flight, well we can in 6 hours time at double the price so we wonder round from agent to agent and notice that there is a flight to Hau Hin in less than one hour so we book our selves on and are off the ground before we know it; no queuing or waiting around.

It's a tiny little plane with 16 seats and two seats for the pilots; it's comfy, clean and the view is amazing. We watch the sun begin to set over Bangkok as we fly and 40 minutes later we land at the tiniest airport, jump in the back of a truck (converted into a taxi) and get dropped off on the front near the pier where all the cheap accommodation is. We wonder up and down, the choice is not good so we settle on K Place, leave our bags and go for coffee Flight 1

. Things aren't great between us, we get an early night. Bonus is that we can pick up the wireless network from the Hilton Hotel for free!!

There isn't much to do here; the beach looks like Blackpool beach with the tide a mile out; I wouldn't say it's dirty but it's not the kind of place you'd lay for hours worshiping the sun. There are a few shopping malls, ten pin bowling, millions of shops selling just about anything you could want to buy and at night the streets turn into one big market. We stayed for 4 nights so we could decide if we could make things right again and if so where we could head off to next.

We decide to get a bus and a boat to Koh Tao a small island where the boat stops on its way to Koh Samui. We figure we will just spend a couple of days there since we are passing anyway then head off to Koh Samui where it's all supposed to be happening.

Almost for got we went to see some Tahi boxing it was mad, especially when the two kids (about 7 years old) came on and started kicking the shit out of each other.

We are up early and walk to the bus stop with our bags because Ben refuses to pay the quid it will cost in a tuk tuk and we wait for our bus.

To be continued. . . . .
