We arrive at Bangkok airport arguing, I think its time for us to go our separate ways cause I've had enough (part of my reason for leaving England was to help me stop drinking before it kills me and all he wants to do is get pissed), Ben won't let me go anywhere on my own. I protest that I am a grown up now and can do what the hell I want so I suggest that he does one and leaves me to it. He wont leave and we argue some more outside the domestic flight terminal. People are staring at us and thinking we are probably mad, as in mental mad not angry mad. Things were different in India I know we had our share of arguments, all couples do, but alcohol was limited. I'm not saying he has to stop drinking I know I don't wanna stop drinking all together; it's just that now he's drinking everyday just like I used to back home. I didn't come away to get pissed everyday I came away to experience different cultures and ways of life.
Ben promises to calm down on the alcohol and asks to give it one last try agreeing that next time he's on the next flight home. I have my doubts but hey we've come this far so maybe it's worth a shot.
