Back to Northern France for more war monuments, this time the Canadian monument on Vimy Ridge. Did I mention that I loved Northern France? I don't know why but the towns just seem so cute. Arras is the closest town to Vimy Ridge and the main buildings were completely destroyed during WWI. They've been rebuilt according to the original plans though so the feeling remains the same. There is a YHA on the town's amazing main square and it is just enough off the tourist route to feel a little undiscouvered.
