-Having a drink on the top floor of a pagoda over looking the river and park.
-And a few odd/sick ones...walking down 'snipers alley' and seeing the 'Sarajevo Roses'. (exploded shell indentations symbolic filled with red cement, which we had read about in the Lonely Planet.)
-Standing on the bridge where Franz Ferdinand was assassinated sparking off WW1.

-Sarajevo train station isn't very safe at night! We caught the night train from Sarajevo to Budapest. It was quite a deserted station, we boarded the train before the locals and the conductor. A man watched us get on the train and indecently exposed himself, gross!!!! The locals were a great help and searched the train for this man. but in the commotion he got away.
-We found this night train journey really tough. It had four border crossings where they have to change the train engine and check your passport each time, therefore it is impossible to sleep.
